1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services provided by Garrison Wills & Trusts Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Our Services
We provide professional estate planning services including:
- Will writing services
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare)
- Estate planning consultation
- Trust services
- Licensed consultant programmes
3. Professional Standards
Garrison Wills & Trusts is a Member Firm of the Society of Will Writers (SWW) and adheres to their Code of Practice. We are not a firm of solicitors regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
All documents are professionally drafted based on detailed instructions provided by our clients following comprehensive instruction-taking procedures.
4. Client Instructions
By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Respond promptly to requests for clarification
- Review draft documents carefully
- Inform us of any changes to your circumstances
- Pay fees as agreed
5. Our Obligations
We will:
- Take detailed instructions from you
- Draft documents in accordance with your instructions
- Provide you with draft documents for review
- Make reasonable amendments as requested
- Store your documents securely (if storage service selected)
- Maintain confidentiality
6. Fees and Payment
Service Fees
- Single Will: £150
- Mirror Wills: £240
- Lasting Power of Attorney: £420 per LPA type
Note: OPG (Office of the Public Guardian) registration fees are payable separately by the client directly to the OPG. Current OPG fees are £82 per LPA.
Payment Terms
Payment is required before final documents are released. We accept payment by bank transfer, card payment, or other agreed methods.
Cancellation and Refunds
You have the right to cancel within 14 days of engaging our services. If you cancel:
- Before any work has begun: Full refund
- After work has commenced: Refund minus reasonable costs incurred
- After documents are finalized: No refund (amendments may be chargeable)
7. Consultant Programme Terms
For Licensed Consultants
Consultants who join our licensed programme agree to:
- Pay £295 license fee (one-time)
- Pay £16.25 monthly ongoing fee
- Follow our instruction-taking procedures
- Maintain professional standards
- Not misrepresent themselves as solicitors
- Comply with SWW Code of Practice
Commission Structure
Consultants receive 70% commission on sales. We retain 30% for document drafting and professional services.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services
- We are not liable for losses resulting from inaccurate instructions provided by clients
- We maintain professional indemnity insurance
10. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing.
11. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, subject to legal and regulatory requirements.
12. Complaints Procedure
If you are dissatisfied with our services:

- We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days
- We aim to resolve complaints within 28 days
- If unresolved, you may refer the matter to the Society of Will Writers
13. Professional Indemnity Insurance
We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by the Society of Will Writers.
14. Website Use
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Use the website in any way that breaches applicable laws
- Transmit any harmful or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Collect data from the website using automated means
15. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
